Hey Maciej -- have been playing around with rolling.classify() this morning and really like it.

Is there an argument required to label the legend/key? It is not telling me which colour represents which candidate. Sorry if I've missed something obvious.

Hi James,

the parameter you're looking for is called plot.legend and it is set to TRUE by default - so you *should* be seeing labels. You can try adding 'plot.legend = TRUE' to your rolling.classify() call to see if by some weird error it was changed. Are your files formatted in a stylo-safe way (that is: author_title.txt)? This could influence whether stylo recognizes the candidates' names.
If this doesn't help, can you tell which stylo version and exact command (parameters within rolling.classify() call) you were using?
Also, if you need direct help - I'm at DHSI as well, I can take a look.

Best,
Joanna

Dear James,

since Joanna has answered your question in detail, I have nothing to add. One tiny thing: I am assuming that you're using a rather recent version of the package -- otherwise, your issue might have been caused by an underdeveloped plotting sub-function (roughly three versions back).

All the best,
Maciej
