Dear colleagues,

I am writing to share an announcement for a two-year Postdoctoral Associate position in Sociology at Rice University, beginning July 1, 2026.

The postdoc will collaborate with me on an NSF-funded project examining how social processes and the built environment jointly produce and sustain spatial inequality. The position is especially well suited for scholars with experience in computational or quantitative methods, including spatial analysis and network analysis, and for those eager to grow their skills and advance an independent research agenda alongside collaborative work.

Review of applications will begin February 23, 2026, and will continue until the position is filled.
