hi All,

A student asked me about the derivation of the Jukes-Cantor model (in review slides and lecture 4) in office hours today. If anyone else is interested there is a more clear derivation in :

Durbin, Eddy, Krogh, Mitchison: "Biological Sequence Analysis" page 192-197.

If you don't have the book let me know. I can send you the pages...
