We would like to advise that Abstract submissions to MusTWork16 will be accepted until Monday May 1st.

This one-day event will be held on Friday June 10th 2016 in the Michael Smurfit Business School, UCD, Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock, Co Dublin, Ireland. This workshop is intended to allow presentation of scientific research and highlight industrial, employment and research opportunities in the area of music computing, creative technology and analytics in Ireland.

Original research submissions are welcome from all areas that can be related to creative technology in music including, but not limited to:

Computer Music:
- Algorithmic Composition
- Computer aided music
- Computationally creative systems
- Software instruments
- Music Generation, harmonisation, melody construction
- Machine Learning techniques applied to music
- Music mining (data mining in music)
- Software games that create/use music
- Creative programming

Audio Technology:
- Speech/Speaker/Audio analysis
- Digital Signal Processing
- Microphone design
- Audio equipment
- Future possibilities in audio production
- Digital Audio effects

Music Analytics:
- Recommender systems
- Music Information Retrieval, query by humming
- Information systems
- Musical trends
- Analytics of the music business
- Musical perception, musical preference, musical psychology


Submission of an extended Abstract (max. 1 page) is required. Accepted papers will asked to submit full 8 page papers for inclusion in online proceedings.
