Hello all,
For those currently looking for a new academic role, you may be interested in applying to the School of Computing Lectureship vacancies we have at the University of Kent, UK.
These are all permanent, full-time, open-ended 'teaching & research' contracts. (NB the Canterbury posts are marked part-time at the time of sending this, but I've checked and this is incorrect; the posts are intended to be full time and this is being corrected on the
jobs.ac.uk link).
At Kent we have an excellent research environment that has been very encouraging and supporting to me as a new Lecturer doing Computational Creativity research. We also teach a module on Computational Creativity here, as well as conducting CC research and attracting PhD students. It would be great to have another CC person on the faculty, particularly at the Medway campus where our research and teaching focus on application of Computing theory to practice.
Contact me if you have any questions about the vacancies that I might be able to help with - if I can't help I will try to put you in touch with someone who can.
