Hi all,

There is a job being advertised at my campus of the University of Kent, UK, for a full-time, open-ended, teaching & research Lectureship.

This is a post at the Medway campus of Kent, where the Data Science research group is based. The School of Computing is spread across two campuses at the University of Kent, so there are also other research groups you can be part of at the Canterbury campus, e.g. I am a member of the Data Science group and the Computational Intelligence group. Medway is quite easily commutable from London, though most of us choose to live locally. (House prices are quite cheap compared to London!)

Although it's not specifically mentioned, the School would be interested in applications from people with research interests in Computational Creativity, as we already have two computational creativity researchers at the School (myself, and Colin Johnson at Canterbury). Also, we teach a module in Computational Creativity here and would like to have more staff capable of teaching this module.

If anyone is interested in applying and wants to ask more about the role, I'd be more than happy to hear from you (and if I can't answer the questions, I will give you contact details for someone who can).

Closing date for applications: 10 June 2018
Interviews are to be held: 11 July 2018

Good luck to anyone who is interested in applying! Hope to hear from you,
Anna Jordanous
