Call for Posters and Show-And-Tell demos at 9th International Conference on Computational Creativity, Salamanca, Spain.
Dear all,
We would like to invite you to participate in the poster session and the Show-And-Tell demo session that will be held at this year’s ICCC’18, at Salamanca, Spain.
This is an inclusive call, with a very light-touch peer review. We warmly invite anyone who is registered/registering to attend ICCC’18 to submit to this call:
Please submit a 1-page long description of your research to EasyChair. https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iccc20180 .The page must be formatted according to the ICCC template (http://computationalcreativity.net/iccc2018/sites/default/files/ICCC-author-kit.zip):
· Submissions will be accepted or rejected based on their relevance to the conference topics. Submissions of work-in-progress are welcome, as well as submissions of completed relevant work that may have been published elsewhere or that is pending publication.
· Clearly indicate during the submission process, using the Topics in the submission page, whether you are submitting for the Poster session or for the Show-And-Tell session. Please only tick one box for either a Poster, or a Show-And-Tell (not both, as they will be happening in the same session). If you do not tick either, it is possible we will not see your submission on Easychair.
· We will notify you if your submission is accepted.
· If your submission is accepted as a poster, please bring a poster with you to the conference following the one-page submission. At the conference, we can manage posters of any size between 36" x 48" (maximum) and 24" x 36" (minimum), either portrait or landscape. We will supply poster stands, poster boards, and pushpins. The poster should summarize and display the key points of your accepted 1-page long paper.
· If your submission is accepted as a Show-And-Tell demo, please bring the system/demo you plan to demonstrate at the conference. You will need to contact the local organisers separately on iccc-2018-organ...@googlegroups.com as soon as possible after your submission is accepted for the Show-And-Tell, if you have any particular additional requirements for your demonstration. While we will try to accommodate people’s requirements as much as possible, we cannot guarantee this.
DEADLINE: 15th June 2018.
We invite people giving talks at ICCC’18 to participate in the poster/Show-And-Tell session as well. We especially invite people who are attending ICCC’18 affiliated workshops or doctoral consortium to submit based on your workshop/consortium submission, so that you can show your work to the main conference as well as to the workshops/consortium. We also invite participants who have not had a paper accepted for the main conference, workshops or consortium. Again, please do submit the 1-page long paper to EasyChair. (Those people who have already had papers accepted as posters/short talks do not need to submit their work again to this call).
Your posters and Show-And-Tell demos will be included in the session alongside those papers that were accepted for the main proceedings as poster/short-talk presentations. (Only those people with full papers accepted as poster/short talks for the main proceedings will be giving short talks). See the online Programme for details of when the poster/Show-And-Tell session takes place (http://computationalcreativity.net/iccc2018/scientific-programme).
The page describing your research will be included in the ICCC’18 proceedings.
We very look forward to receiving your poster/Show-And-Tell submissions for the general poster/Show-And-Tell session at ICCC’18!
All the best,
Anna Jordanous and Carlos León
