Hi all,

We recently ran the “Dr Inventor” system on a corpus of ICCC papers – even though it was developed as a creativity assistant for researchers in computer graphics, by finding analogies between SIGGRAPH papers.

The results are available with a simplified front-end at http://dodsrv.cs.nuim.ie/iccc/alltargs.php

While the inferences arising from these comparisons can take a little work to understand properly, we think some of them might be quite interesting.

No special efforts we made to “tweak” Dr Inventor for this corpus, so some of its findings might be more “insanity” than “creativity”.

All feedback welcome, especially evaluation feedback on specific comparisons (both good and bad).
