Hi all,

In Antwerp, we are currently conducting a research project to develop interactive fairy tales for hospitalised children, using CC techniques. The aim is to mitigate stress, loneliness and boredom. In brief, we are working on a virtual forest with talking animals, like the fellow below, that go on adventures with you.

The project has been nominated in a national competition, out of 150+ Belgian projects, for this year’s Smart Care Award. There was a jury defense but there’s also a public vote. We don’t aim to win the public vote, but we consider it a nice way to help raise (local) awareness of what AI can contribute to society and well-being.

If you have a minute to spare, feel free to support the project with a peer vote!

The text is in Dutch or French, but Google Translate does a passable job of translating it.

Thanks for your time!
