CSMC Update: Deadlines approaching, keynotes announced, registration open

We are delighted to announce the keynote speakers for the 2018 Conference on Computer Simulation of Musical Creativity (CSMC) to be held in Dublin, Ireland from 20-22nd August:

Dr. Alice Eldridge, University of Sussex and 

Dr. Tim Blackwell, Goldsmiths University.

Please note the submission deadlines are fast approaching:

Deadline for concert/performance proposals is May 1st

Deadline for paper proposals is May 21st

Registration for CSMC has now opened https://csmc2018.wordpress.com/registration/

Please note that to encourage students and recent graduates there will be two student awards at CSMC this year. The best two student/graduate papers will have the attendance fee (for the first author) waived. To qualify the first author must be either a full-time student or be without current funding. This author must attend and present their work. Please indicate at time of submission if you qualify to submit for this award. The winners will be decided during peer review.
