Step into a world that, just like ours, is rife with ethical questions around AI. The garden of unearthly AI is a uniquely immersive experience combining speculative design, collective philosophical inquiry, and intimate chamber music.
When? Monday 28 July, 3:00-5:30pm
Where? Edinburgh Society of Musicians, 3 Belford Road, Edinburgh (UK)
In this one-of-a-kind concert workshop, you will:
🌱 Reflect on fictional (but eerily plausible) AI ethical dilemmas through the lenses of philosophy,
🖼️ Co-create speculative representations of future societies, brought to life with generative AI visuals,
🎶 Hear your collective visions transformed into live-performed music, including AI-augmented performances of Tartini’s Devil’s Trill Sonata, Debussy’s Beau Soir and Vitali’s Chaconne,
🧠 Contribute to research on how people imagine techno-moral futures.
👤 Please bring your curiosity, imagination, and willingness to engage in small-group discussion to learn more about AI and its moral implications.
🎟️ Free, but limited capacity - Please register by 25/07 (asap!) on Eventbrite http://bit.ly/4f1mFHu
