I strongly believe in human psychology and the basic principles of evolutionary psychology it confirmed my belief that it is an investment of what is valuable to us as people, e.g Time and finances this creates value. Really, think about it, I’m sure you know someone who always seems to be complaining about their job, saying things like “Oh, I hate my job” or “my job sucks” or “If only I had a job that allowed me to be free, travel and earn passively, I would be happy.” Now, although I’m sure the same person has been complaining for ages, they have a direct connection to the World Wide Web, or at least to a library. BUT, even though there is a ton of knowledge available free at their local library on how to create an online business and achieve financial freedom, they don’t even bother to consider using them.
Of course not! They do not have “purchase” factor because they don’t believe it has value simply because they didn’t have to work for it! No investment = no value. Easy! Our evolutionary brains have been wired for hundreds of thousands of years since we became anatomically modern Homo sapiens we value what we invest in.
How about another example of the opposite scenario? Have you ever been in a relationship with a girl (or guy) and when the relationship started going downhill, logically I realized it probably wasn’t the best idea to stay in it, but emotionally you just couldn’t break away from it. Well, just one more time because you Time invested and probable resources in this relationship you valued him emotionally.
