How to Load Revit Families
1. Open Revit, go to the Insert Tab and Press on Load Family
2. Choose the downloaded family from your computer
AEC firms that want to implement a Revit content management system often face a chicken and egg problem when it comes to their content library. On one hand, they want to organize and clean up their family library before rolling out a content management system to their team. On the other hand, they struggle to make progress curating a library without a content management system to help them.
Using ribbon elements for your application is required, but how you do this will depend on your plug-in design. Building design trends evolve, and new products enter the market. To keep your Revit family library current, schedule regular updates and maintenance. Remove outdated families and add new ones as needed to stay ahead in your industry.
