Why: I’m a Master Composter through BBG, co-founder of Educating
Tomorrow and the UFT Green Schools Committee. I started two backyard
compost bins last Spring the are ripe and read to harvest. Come to my
place to enjoy a lovely Spring BBQ and potluck. Then we’ll get dirty
digging in the compost piles and use my fallen leave to build new
bins. FUN and EDUCATIONAL for ALL!
What to bring: Your favorite seasonal vegetarian (even better if it’s
vegan, wheat-free and/or sugar-free) dish, beverages, and/or something
to throw on the BBQ. Optional: Gardening gloves and something to take
home compost and leftover food.
What to do: PLEASE RSVP by joining the Flatbush Supper Club Group at
http://greenedge.ning.com/group/flatbushsupperclub and post under May
Compost Potluck BBQ to let me know if you will be able to attend. I
will post specific directions to all the members of the supper club.
