Subject: “LOGML 2024: Call for mentors”
We are thrilled to announce the return of the London Geometry and Machine Learning (LOGML) Summer School, taking place in person for the first time on July 8-12 2024. LOGML brings together mathematicians and computer scientists to work on problems at the intersection of geometry and machine learning. The programme will focus on a range of week-long group projects led by experienced mentors, alongside an exciting schedule of talks from distinguished speakers and industry experts.
We invite applications for passionate mentors to guide and support groups of ~5 graduate students on a week-long project of the mentor’s choosing. Projects should reside at the interface of geometry, machine learning, and related topics, including but not limited to:
We welcome applications from both early-career and established researchers. Mentoring provides a unique opportunity to guide a team of passionate students to carry out cutting-edge research in an exciting and fast-developing field of research. Many previous groups have gone on to publish their work in top journals and conferences.
Please visit our project archives for information on projects in previous years: https://www.logml.ai/logml2022/projects.html.
