Had to rebuild C drive and reload windows... wondering if I should have installed and configured driver prior to loading Adobe Creative Suite and Autodesk TrueView... can remove all and layer system properly..

Using PL532en driver - loaded into W11 in - signature driver disable mode... prints test page and only from Office 365... apps such as Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop just implode and shutdown. Have PL132en as well - but cannot install - error everytime.

I started my own engnieering company with a new computer with Windows 7 (64 bit) with AutoCad 2011. Bought an HP 750C Plus plotter but cannot find the driver. I saw the note on this site for downloading the driver for the 1050C to work with Windows 7. I downloaded the 1050C driver from the HP site but I do not know how to assign the driver to the hardware that my computer detects after I plugged in the 750C.

Guess what. The 750c driver for XP-64 works on 7-64. A little trickier to install, but of course since it is the actual driver for the plotter, it works perfectly. Also works better for 455ca than the 1050 driver

download and unzip the file to a directory on your machine. Go to control panel users and turn off user account control. restart your computer. Add the plotter as a printer (you may find it easiest to specify that it is connected on lpt1 and change that later) using the unzipped directory for the driver. Go back to control panel users and turn user account control back on. Reboot. go to printers and devices and adjust the settings as desired, including the port. You may need to add a port if it is connected by a dedicated printserver, but that is specific to the printserver. That's it.

I have successfully downloaded the XP 64 version onto my Windows 7 machine, installed the printer but now I cannot get my 750C Plus plotter to spit out the test plot. I have a brand new Dell computer with 4 USB ports and used one of them as the connection to the plotter with a cable that transitions to the old 25 pin port. The test plot is in the que but is not printing. What port should I be connected to?

The Windows XP 64-bit driver "hpdj1000wx64glen.exe" seems to work fine In Windows 10 64-bit for the DesignJet 1050C and 1055CM--64-bit hp-gl/2 driver. I didn't have to override or defeat the "signed" driver requirement. The driver was deemed "signed" by Windows 10.

Anyone know of a driver for the designjet 105Xcx that will work with Windows 10 x64? Again, I assume the Win XP x64 driver would work, but assume one may have to override or defeat the "signed" driver requirement.

Yes, as a matter of fact Don, the Win XP x64 "hpdj5x00wx64glen.exe" driver that you sent me as well for the 5000 or 5500 seemed to work fine for a customer with a 5000 using Win 10 x64. Was having "data lost" problem but the customer did the following:

Came across this post and wanted to add. I recently moved a 1055CM into my office for work drawings and instead of installing a driver for the 1055CM, I used the 5500 driver that I already had on my computer. It works just fine and gives a few more options than the original 1055CM driver.

I received an upgraded laptop with Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. My IT department was able to get the software running thanks to the great advice from the forum. My next issue is that I cannot plot to a HP Designjet 500 plotter (yes it's old). From what I have been seeing, is that it's impossible to plot to that plotter with the new OS. I seen a post suggesting to buy a new plotter. If anyone has an idea how I can solve this problem, I would appreciate the help.

Meanwhile, to anyone who would like to be helpful, please chime in. None of the drivers worked for my brand new laptop with Windows 10. I also tried downloading the driver to the HP 1100 as another poster suggested, but that didn't help since it couldn't recognize the printer.

The drivers to Windows 8.1 (the latest version offered to date) worked, but when I would use HP Instant Printing 3, the job would stall and eventually just sit idle. Apparently, with Windows 10, for some reason it recognizes the job and thinks it goes through when it didn't.

Ours company used HP Designjet 500 for many years and no problem, but it started to brick often and it was hard to repair, last time repair master took few months to get needed part and repair it. So we brought a new ploter HP Designjet T730, but had problems with drivers. Drivers would not work even repair master from HP could not fix it. But after long try to uninstall and install new drivers we solved worst problems and could print, but after some time drivers would crash again and will need to completely remove HP drivers and install again. So new plotter may not help. If old plotter are in working condition you need to try make it work, because it should be driver problem.

I know it's an old thread but I ran into the same problem recently. I upgraded my (old school) boss's pc to Windows 10 and his Designjet 500 no longer worked regardless of what I tried. In the end I disconnected the plotter, uninstalled the driver package in print server properties and plugged it back in. Once the drivers had reinstalled, I went into devices and printers, right clicked on the recently reinstalled designjet, printer properties, into the advanced tab and clicked print directly to printer. It might also help to disable windows from managing the default printer.

So my civil engineering department was upgrade to Windows 10 with out realizing that the plotter that they use (HP Designjet 1055CM) is not supported -your-hp-designjet-printer-windows-10-compatible/ Opens a new window

According to the HP forums users have had luck using the Vista 64bit driver for the entire 1000 line. Have you tried that one? If not it is here. =60786&swItemId=pl_37410_7&swEnvOi... Opens a new window

Dude, we have a HP T790 designjet plotter. Following the upgrade to Win 10, it appeared the printer driver didn't work, the printer was showing up and everything, the console was there if you double clicked the device everything was in place.. but it didn't work immediately . to get it work all we had to do was:

I used to fight with one of those things with Windows 7. The Vista driver should work with Windows 10, but make sure you use the HP/GL-2 driver as opposed to the PostScript driver. Then also be sure to have the correct options listed in the driver.

For those members with an HP T790 DesignJet, we want to clarify that although there is no HP Windows 10 driver available for the HP DesignJet 1055CM, there is a full feature HP Windows 10 driver available for the HP T790

Hello @ITMAN10000, thanks for your reply. The price tag for a driver does seem high. However, you may want to share with your team that when the product was released in 2001 the cost was almost $11,000. Additionally, googling shows that one company is offering a refurbished HP 1055cm for $10,995. Given this the $199 price tag may now seem reasonable.

I agree with @Big Green Man that one can consider the price as "extended support fee" and the driver fee is a lot "cheaper than replacing the plotter." Thank you very much, @Big Green Man. A check on the HP Store does prove this. Click here Opens a new window for the list of HP plotters currently on the HP price list.

You will also see on the HP Store plotter webpage that there is currently an upgrade program that allows customers to turn in their old plotters and purchase a new plotter. The discount can be significant. I did see your plotter on the eligibility list. Click here Opens a new window for details.

I have recently bought a new HP computer tower and upgraded to Windows 10 64-bit from Windows 10 32-bit. My Designjet 110 plus wide-format printer which used to work perfectly in Windows 10 32-bit, would not work in the new version of Windows 10. I have installed the driver provided by Windows and I am sure that I have done no mistake. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the same driver but to no avail. I have tried in vain to research the issue and all the information that I could gather is that this model is no longer supported. Now, it is well known that Windows OS is backward compatible and I cannot understand why I cannot find a driver which is compatible with Windows 10 64-bit. Can anybody suggest how I may resolve this problem, please? Thanks in advance for any response.

Interesting that the printer worked under Windows 10 32 and I? don't know how because there are no drivers for Windows 10 in any version nor for the previous windows 8 versions neither, the Designjet 110 plus was only compatible under Windows 7, maybe using that driver can be installed as workaround, or try the universal print driver as well.

I have solved the problem using HP Print and Scan Doctor. At first this software did not work because one of its files was corrupted. However, when I uninstalled it and reinstalled it on my PC, HP Print and Scan Doctor fixed my driver for my Designjet 110 Plus in no time. Now my wide-format printer works perfectly even with Windows 10 64-bit OS.

Hello Everyone! I have been searching for an answer for this same problem, and finally came up with a solution. When you add the printer, just select "other software" (not the generic type), and in the drivers list, you should select HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125-M126. This made my HP Laserjet Pro M12w printer work with a Mac Book Pro M1 2021, Ventura 13. Hope it works for you too.
