Dear colleagues,

In my previous post I incorrectly stated that there will be a session at the congress on complex dynamics, but the session will actually be on complex geometry.
Anyone interested in participating in the session is welcome to contact Álfheiður Edda Sigurðardóttir <edda.sigu...@chalmers.se>.

The 30th Nordic Congress of Mathematicians will be held in Akureyri, Iceland, by the Icelandic Mathematical Society June 20-23. 2027. The congress will honour the memory of late professor Sigurður Helgason who would have turned 100 years old on September 30th, 2027. The event will be held in part at Akureyri Junior College, where Sigurður studied and became interested in mathematics. The congress will include plenary talks celebrating his mathematical contributions and personal life.

The Nordic Congress of Mathematicians is held once every four years under the auspices of the national mathematical associations of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Early-career and established mathematicians will present diverse research in parallel sessions, with ten distinguished plenary speakers leading the way.

The homepage for the congress is https://ncm30.github.io/, where you can find more information about the program and a link for registration. We encourage participants to register and book accommodation early.

There will be some complex analysis presence since Eleonora Di Nezza is one of the plenary speakers and there will be a session on complex geometry.

Please feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be interested.

Best regards,
the board of the Icelandic Mathematical Society
