Dear Colleagues:

This is the first announcement of the tenth Midwestern Workshop on Asymptotic Analysis which will take place at Purdue University Fort Wayne, October  10 – 12, 2025. The MWAA aims to foster cooperation among mathematicians in certain areas of analysis represented in the midwest and specifically near the state of Indiana, including approximation theory, mathematical physics, operator theory, potential theory, and complex analysis.  We encourage young mathematicians -- current PhD students, recent graduates, and post-docs -- to participate in our conference. The conference is partially funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), although at a lower level than in previous years.  Graduate students from Indiana or nearby states may apply for some reimbursement of travel expenses in the registration process, and will be informed of the availability of reimbursement after the application due date, September 21.  Everyone is invited to register by following the instructions on our web site http://mwaa.math.indianapolis.iu.edu/ .  Participants other than speakers should arrange their own lodging; the web site will list some hotels and other local information. We would appreciate if you could help us to disseminate information about the workshop by printing and posting our poster (also available on the web site) at your department.

The conference will begin with a keynote address by A. Sukhov on Friday, October 10 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM.  Saturday’s program will consist of a poster session and coffee at 9AM followed by 40-minute invited talks beginning at 9:40AM while Sunday's program will consist of a poster session and coffee at 9AM followed by remaining 40-minute talks to round out the morning.
