Dear all,

tomorrow on April 16, we'll have a public meeting with Apple and CERN
compiler engineers to discuss cutting-edge developments in just-in-time
compilation (JIT), challenges, and future prospects. This technology is
very relevant both for the scientific software ecosystem in both Python
and C++, as well as advanced features in Apple applications, for example
in XCode.

We'll have presentations from both the Apple and the CERN side, followed
by ample time for discussions on which new ideas to pursue and on
particular challenges like packaging JIT-oriented software.

The Indico Agenda:

The Videoconference link (open to anyone):

Please forward this to anyone who might be interested in this subject!
Note that the meeting is not going to be recorded.

We hope to see many of you tomorrow to see how Apple and CERN are using
JIT, and to join the discussion.

Cheers,
Jonas and Vassil
