Compiere for distribution

Has anyone worked on implementing compiere for a distribution company?
Basically the requirement is that I have a chain of wholesale agents
who need to order directly into the system.
However they need to see only the data that is relevant for them, that
is for example see only their invoices etc.
Please let me know if anyone has worked on this kind of requirement.
In that case please let me know, how the configuration was done and
whether any issue was expierenced.

We used the e-commerce / Partner Portal component of Compiere to allow access to the remote agents so they can only see their specific data including their custom pricing on products. We built a customization for one of our Distribution Clients so they could order online using the webstore/ecommerce component but checkout WITHOUT having to pay by credit card, but instead, enter a PO # so they could pay by terms.
