The last part may be solved by the fact that the two diff equations can be combined into one,

Lh*H*dH = Lz*Z*dZ,

such that

H/Z = sqrt(Lh/Lz)

The slope works out to be 1/sqrt(2) in this case. Lh and Lz are the kill rates of humans and zombies, respectively.
