Im trying to make a 2x2 contingency table manually and make it look pretty but I'm struggling working with the display boxes and specifically bolding, centering text etc. My main frustration is with trying to make the String Column Box values be bold (line 20).
I was looking to buy some more never used boxed V1 units from craigs list or ebay, but wanted to ask around, if in theory would they have reached the brown out low voltage in the box, and would by now have bricked.
I assume Melane did it correctly before, and if it has stopped working now, please reset Preferences (Hold Ctrl/Cmd+Alt+Shift while opening ID). Have you updated lately? Which numerical versin of ID are you using now?*
As a general rule, when InDesign starts behaving erratically, that indicates it is time to rebuild the preference and cache. I know you said you tried resetting prefs with the keyboard and that didn't work. Here is a post that outlines rebuild these files, and goes beyond that basic step. I would suspect one of the steps listed here will take care of this for you:
In previous versions, cannot remember the exact numbers, some characters like em dashes at the end of a line could prevent text frames from fitting to text. That bug was fixed some years ago, I think.
Hi! I just had the same problem: double click didn't fit text box. But double clicking was working with other text box in the same document. I figured out that I had used "wrong" Enter key in this problem text box (the one which is right next of numeric keypad bottom right).
So make sure that there aren't this Enter key used after the last character of the text. Here's how Indesign uses this two different Enter keys:"Adobe InDesign also uses the two Enter keys differently when editing text in a frame on a page. Normally, pressing the Enter key creates a new paragraph, and of course you'd expect that. But if you press the Enter key on the numeric keypad, you create a column break." (Creativepro).
I just did a self-install upgrade to X1. XFi and the main DVR box is working fine, but the small satellite will not play TV shows. I can see the guide, but when a show is selected only a black screen with no sound is displayed. Shows recorded from the main DVR play fine. The system will occasionally display a message that it needs to restart all the TV boxes. When I restart all, the system comes back with the same symptoms. Can anyone offer any assistance?
I'm afraid that I don't have much information on the wiring. It is original to the house and I have never worked on it. There is one coaxial jack downstairs (the main DVR), two in the master bedroom (XFi router and satellite cable box), and one additional jack in each of the three other bedrooms (only one satellite cable box is in one of these rooms). As far as I know, there are no amps.
After a data centre power outage a decision was made to switch the start up mode of a bunch of our SQL Servers to manual so that the on call DBA could manage the reintroduction of the servers in a controlled fashion.
I jumped onto the first of our Windows Server 2012 R2, SQL Server 2012 SP1 boxes and ran SQLServerManager11.msc to start SQL 2012 configuration manager. Select the SQL engine service, right click and select properties, click the service tab and click the start mode drop down:
I've grown up reading Tom Clancy and probably most of you have at least seen Red October, so this book caught my eye when browsing used books for a recent trip. It's a fairly human look at what's involved in sailing on a Trident missile submarine...
Question: Can a 2008 SQL instance be used as the witness for a 2005 database mirroring setup? This question was sent to me via email. My reply follows. Can a 2008 SQL instance be used as the witness for a 2005 database mirroring setup? Databases to be mirrored are currently running on 2005 SQL instances but will be upgraded to 2008 SQL in the near future.

Last week I posted Speaking at Community Events - Time to Raise the Bar?, a first cut at talking about to what degree we should require experience for speakers at events like SQLSaturday as well as when it might be appropriate to add additional focus/limitations on the presentations that are accepted. I've got a few more thoughts on the topic this week, and I look forward to your comments.
The code I have is the following but it isn't working at all (thats to say that it doesn't remove any metaboxes) and I would like help to see what's wrong with it or if what I'm trying to do it's just not posible.
That is you need to hook into admin_menu instead of admin_init as the metaboxes might not exist the moment you are trying to remove them. So a certain order is needed to make sure metaboxes removal call is made when actual metaboxes are generated and exist.
By the way, as I think about the situation you are facing, maybe add the metaboxes/custom fields in such a way, that they are shown only to the pages we are meant to. I have worked on projects where I need to show some metaboxes only when certain template is selected.
Now we would like to be able to set a maximum height to this div. Because the height of the div is determined by the padding on the div we would need the div to be border-boxed. So far so good. When trying to use a min-height on the div, this works. The max-height on this div however does not work for some reason.
I realize this answer comes incredibly late to the party but I was trying to solve this exact same thing today and this question is the first result in Google. I ended up solving it with the below code so hopefully that will help someone out in the future.
This obviously assumes you're fine with hiding part of the inner element when it overflows. In my case that wasn't a problem because the inner element is just an empty link element to make the whole thing clickable and the outer element just has a centered background image and a border set.
I think you are confused by the box-sizing property that it changes the element height to the overal height including the padding top and bottom (also me). But this is not the case as you will see in the jsFiddle example.
The limitation to Mike's answer (and this Brad's answer - although Brad's technique can be incorporated to reduce the number of levels of containers) is that it requires overflow: hidden - which in my use-case (and in many others) a significant limitation.
Front and Back Post Double Crochet (FPDC & BPDC): A front post DC means you insert your hook from front to back around the post of the next DC and work your DC. A back post DC means you insert your hook around the post from the back to the front and work a DC.
Row 2: CH 1 and turn. SC in the first two stitches, *CH 3, skip the next three stitches, SC in the next two stitches. Repeat from * to the end. Your last two stitches will be two SC in the last two spaces.
Pick either side to work across. Using off-white, pull up a loop in the corner and chain 3. DC across the entire side working 2 DC into the side of each DC post and one DC into a SC. Chain 3 and turn. This counts as your first DC.
Work back across the row of DC you just made alternating working into the front post, and back post of each DC (FPDC, BPDC) When you get to the last DC, work that one as normal-into the top of the stitch. chain 3 and turn.
Repeat this back and forth for 2 more rows for a total of 5. Do not tie off, simply chain 3, and start working across the end of the blanket, working 2 DC into the sides of the DC stitches, one DC per SC and then into each SC that is at the end of your blanket. Chain three and turn and work back across in the same manner you did for the sides using the FPDC and BPDC.
When you finish 5 rows, chain 3, and now work in the same manner up the side, again working 2 DC per DC stitch and one per SC. When you finish working the ribbing up this side and then across the last end, chain 1 and work a SC into each DC all the way around the entire blanket. Tie off and weave in the ends.
Block the blanket if needed by either hand washing and then reshaping and laying it out to dry, or simply use a spray bottle. I have found that using the Caron Simply soft does not require pins to block, just reshaping with my hands and letting it dry does the trick.
I have recently updated to Creo 6.0.4 (from 5) and and I can't get to properly write notes with boxed text. I want to represent a geometric tolerance in a text note. Attached picture Note - boxed text Creo5.png shows a typical note I would write rather easily in Creo 5. The way I would do this in Creo 5 was to :
Now, when I perform the same steps in Creo 6, it shows me the result I want while I type, but the various boxes are merged as soon as I click outside the text zone. Picture Note - failed boxed text Creo6.png shows the unwanted result.
OMG! That code-style way of typing still works in the Note Property dialog box?! Thanks! I thought it had disappeared when Creo introduced the possibility to edit text directly in the main window, along with the toolbars and the Box button.
This issue is a definatly a theme problem. I found out that if you have an accordion and a widget area (build in Layout Builder) it is the widget that stops the accordion working. So if you wish to replicate this, try:
Open this folder to display all of the contents of your All Files page on Box.com. You can navigate through any folder and open every file you see just as if it were a local file. Box Drive icons tell you at a glance the status of your files and folders.
If you use Windows, you can access Box Drive by opening Explorer and navigating to the folder named Box. Open this folder to display all of the contents of your All Files page on Box.com. You can navigate through any folder and open every file you see just as if it were a local file.
