In the second Naruto artbook there is a drawing of Naruto and Sakura in swimwear. The comment from Kishimoto about that piece about Sakura is: "Making Sakura wear a bikini was kind of embarrassing, so I opted for shorts for her too." Kishi really is a peculiar one when it comes to fan service and his female characters.

I speak Spanish and I found this post on fb. personally it seems like an excuse. Also in this post promoted the idea that they take their relationship as "one of brothers who love each other very much and have dependence" personally that would sound strange especially because of the existence of these scenes

So, the interviewer was asking about the inspiration he took for each of his characters. Sasuke was not some secondary character to just slip out his memory nor his very own Twin Brother whom he born along with.

It is a known fact that when people experience a good media, they like to discuss various things they liked, hated, interpret what the creator trying to say and get something from what they have consumed. Eventually people end up in a shipping war if there are multiple possibilities.

Why do you think kishi drew naruto so ugly after the time skip? I would expect naruto to look like the older version he drew for jiraiya's novel. Do you think it's because canonically naruto isn't supposed to be handsome and the naruto from gutsy ninja was just naruto picturing himself looking cooler? Or do you think it was spite? Naruto has to look ugly and miserable because kishi was pressured into continuing the series?
