Hi everyone!!

I hope you all are doing well! I started working at the Council on Foreign Relations a few weeks ago in New York and wanted to let you all know about a free event that CFR is holding at their office in DC ((1777 F Street, NW) for undergraduate and graduate students next Friday, October 2nd from 1:30 to 4:30 pm.

If you want to know more about it, there is a flyer attached, and there is a description below. Check out the link: http://cfrbacktoschool2015.eventbrite.com, to sign up! Definitely send this out to other friends you may know that would be interested in attending.

Let me know if you have any questions or contact Ruth Sullivan 212.434.9581 or acad...@cfr.org.

Let me know if you are ever in New York! Would love to catch up.

All my very best,

Anna-Sophia

Invitation to CFR Event in DC

On behalf of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), we invite you to participate in the annual CFR Back-to-School Event on Friday, October 2, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., which we will be holding for the first time at CFR’s office in Washington, DC, located at 1777 F Street, NW.

The 2015 Back-to-School Event will focus on global efforts to combat climate change, featuring a panel discussion with Michael A. Levi, CFR’s David M. Rubenstein senior fellow for energy and the environment and director of the Maurice R. Greenberg Center for Geoeconomic Studies, and Varun Sivaram, CFR’s Douglas Dillon fellow and strategic advisor to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Reforming the Energy Vision initiative. Amy Harder, energy reporter at the Wall Street Journal, will moderate. A networking reception where students can speak with department representatives and hear about career and internship opportunities at CFR will follow.

As you may know, an important part of the CFR mission is to serve as a nonpartisan source of information and analysis for teaching and learning about international relations and U.S. foreign policy. This event provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to interact with CFR experts and explore CFR’s vast array of academic resources. We hope to see your school represented. Students should register individually at http://cfrbacktoschool2015.eventbrite.com. For questions, please contact Ruth Sullivan at 212.434.9581 or acad...@cfr.org.
