Venture Capital Competition

Hey Guys,

I want to participate in the Venture Capital Investment Competition. It's a competition to help us leaner about venture capitalists and how the whole process works. 

It's not a huge time commitment. Basically, this is what you have to be present for: 

VC 101: Monday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m. – Learn more about the basics of Venture Capital
Competition Information Session: Wednesday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. - Learn more about the specific details of the competition
uVCIC Competition: Saturday, September 27 8:00 am – 5:00pm

Applying online is pretty easy. It just needs your netID basically. http://startuphoyas.com/guvcic/

If any of you are interested, we can form a team together to do this. Otherwise I'll just apply individually.

I know Marshall, Sarah, and I were potentially interested. I could attend the Georgetown competition, but I wouldn't be able to attend the national competition (unless I get kicked out of Rangila, which may happen.)

I couldn't find a deadline on team formation, but I may participate anyways just for the Georgetown prize, and if first place happens, just get subbed in by someone else.

I didn't know they have a national competition. Well, for now, we can just bank on doing the GU one on Sept 27.
