Hi all,

I am regrettably selling my share of the Compass 29 "Crackerjack". I have a genuine personal reason for the sale.

I currently share the boat with my two mates and the new buyer would take a 1/3 share. We have owned the boat for almost 3 years, and in that time have fitted a new headsail on the furler, serviced the engine, replaced some winches and had it antifouled once. The last time it was done was 18 months ago (see photos).

I'm asking for $11,000  for the purchase of my share, this would include us getting the boat antifouled before the sale is finalised. She's currently swing moored in Little Sirius Cove a beautiful spot and the next bay down from Mosman. Access is very easy, with parking on-shore, toilets and tender storage.

It's basically a walk-in deal, the only thing needing immediate attention is antifouling. Once an agreement is reached, the antifouling would be done before purchase (assuming the right price is agreed upon).

I'm asking $12000 for my share of the boat but I am open to sensible offers.

Here's a list of the current equipment (non-exhaustive)

Roller furler with Doyle headsail and UV strip
Cold Deck Shower
Wheel Steering
17HP Volvo Engine (MD5B)
Charcoal BBQ
Metho Stove
Stereo with Ipod connectivity
Marine 2-Way radios (VHF and UHF)
Lifejackets
Arco Winches
4 Spare Sails of differing types
Solar Panels
GPS system (Navman)
Electric Bilge Pump
Swimboard
Tender with almost new 3hp Yamaha outboard
Very clean interior
Manual Pump Toilet
Bimini

I'm happy to answer any questions via email or via this forum - my email address is ben.ja...@gmail.com.

Thanks

Ben

Ben, Looks great, do you know if she was built in survey?

Hi Geoff,

Sorry I'm a bit of a newbie on this forum, what do you mean by built in survey?

Sorry all, just re-read my post, and asked for two different prices, not the best start!

I am looking for $11000 but am open to offers.

Cheers
Ben

Just an idea in the back of my head  for a few of us to club together to buy a C29 that was built to commercial survey and put her up in the Whitsundays, use her ourselves and/or put her on commercial hire. A wild idea but 10 members with $4000 each and a lot of heartache, might make it work.  I know I won't be taking my boat to the reef.
