Chris, we don't know personally but after reading the full text you posted, my most sincere CONCRATULATIONS for making your dream possible to be compatible with your family and financial needs.

Great talented people should always find opportunities like yours. Unfortunately there is much talent out there that is never grabbed by companies, so always think you are representing "a bit of the society"... a bit of all those great people with great ideas that cannot be executed because lack of financing. I sincerely desire long life for your project and, over all, best personal development.

All great invetions were first great dreams... so, please, world, keep dreaming.
