Since recent updated version of CG all my scripts performed before on my datasets do not work at all.
the following error messages appears when I try to make global report statistitics

> stat.global<-compareGroups(~.,method=meth0,data=anemie)
Error in compareGroups.default(X = X, y = y, include.label = include.label, :
None variable can be computed

I do not understand the issue since severals month before all works perfectly?

Is it an issue with R studio ? with readr ?...
Please help me
Sincerely

It sounds strange. Few changes have been made in 3.2.2. version compared the the previous one (3.2.1), and none of them are related to compareGroups function.
Could you provide the value of "meth0" object? And, if possible, could you send your data set to the package maintainer email in order to reproduce your syntax?

Regards,

Isaac Subirana.

It turned out for me that compareGroups does not work with 'tibble' or "data_frame" object. Once I convert the dataset into regular data.frame using as.data.frame, the function works.

The latest compareGroups version (3.4.0) does support "tibble" objects.

I had a similar problem with the latest version of compareGroups - my tables stopped working with the same error message. In some cases I was able to get the tables, but only when setting the "method = 1" compared to my standard setting of "method = NA".
This was/is happening on my PC (Windows 10). By chance I ran the scripts on my Mac and everything seems to be working fine...
Did anyone go to investigate this problem? If you need I can send you my datasets and additional info...

PS: Thanks for the great package!

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for using the compareGroups package.
Could you sent an example dataset to the mantainer email (isubiran<at>imim.es)?
