COMPARE Ecosystem Digest, September 14 - September 27, 2025
Here’s what you may have missed last week and what’s coming up soon!
New discussions in the COMPARE Slack for grasp planners in ROS and the availability of YCB subsets, new hardware designs, leaderboards, and workshops added to robot-manipulation.org, CoRL starts this weekend, and Humanoids starts next week!
💬 Recent discussions in the :
#software_grasp-planning: For which grasp planners are there ROS packages available? (ideally ROS 2, but ROS 1 works, too) [link]
#benchmarking_objects-artifacts: YCB Object Subsets: Interested in acquiring only a portion of YCB objects ($300) instead of the whole kit ($1400)? [link]
Not part of the COMPARE Slack, but want to contribute to these discussions? Please emailcompare....@gmail.com with your thoughts!
The Robotic Grasping and Manipulation Competition (RGMC) features a track for in-hand manipulation. Scores from the last two years of the competition are now logged in a dedicated leaderboard featuring the performance of XL Team (Tsinghua University, China), AI & ROBOT LAB (Tsinghua University, China), and Team GL-HPBot2 (Zhejiang University, China).
