Dear Companions,
We look forward to another gathering on Wednesday, to share your company and that of our Lord.
As usual, Mass starts at 18:00, and we will begin our dinner at 19:00 after adoration of the blessed Sacrament.
The material for our session will be the last part of the course ”Mystery of God”. Session 5 explores the Trinity, one of the unique doctrines of Christianity that we are perhaps used to taking for granted, but can be quite astonishing to an outsider. How do we explain this doctrine to an atheist? B. Barron also talks about the two natures of Christ, divine and human.
To prepare for the faith sharing, think about your relationship with Jesus. When you pray, what do you envision? How do you relate to His divine nature, as well as His human nature?
If you can, bring along a favourite Gospel passage which shows you who Jesus really is.
If time permits, we will also look at session 6, the final session called The God who is Love.
See you soon!
Yours in Christ,
Companions team
