I've got a problem: my old IBM ThinkPad T20 has got one USB 1 port. I
pluged an external HardBox (FHD-353) with a 200GB Maxtor disk into it.
The first time the drive was regnized correctly and I was able to
format and partition it (1 big partition).
The second time nothing happand. Only when I first switched the box on
and pluged it afterwards into the USB port, the drive was regognized.
Several times this worked fine.
However now nothing moves anymore. Switching on the dirve first or
pluging it first does not make a difference on my Windows 2000 SP4
system.
Another 40GB harddisk in the same configuration works just fine.
I enabled the registry flag EnableBigLba.
Has anyone a clue, how I can motivate the Windows Plug and Play
Manager to look at that device and mount it.
Best thanks for all hints
