X/software specializes in system software for UNIX computers and
computers networked to UNIX systems --- from consulting on research,
design, implementation, and testing up to training.

'X' and '/' stand for UNIX, not for X Window. However, most of
our projects are in the X Window area. We've done several ports
of X11.2 to X11.5 to UNIX and non-UNIX machines (e.g. X/TOS/window
for Atari computers) as well as specialized server extensions.

At the moment, we're very busy with porting software to UNIX and
X Window. Therefore, we created tools (no emulators) for porting
from FlexOS (X/FlexOnX), GEM and X/GEM (X/GemOnX), and Windows
(X/WinOnX) to UNIX, X Window and Motif -- without modification of
source code.

Our customers are software developers like DMC, hardware vendors
like Atari, or industrial clients like Johnson Controls Inc.
