Anyone try to run KDE or Kmail on a Windows platform? The web site
seems to infer that it can be done.

There is a KDE Windows version, if that's what you mean. I have it
installed. If I remember right, the whole Kontact suite has been
ported to Windows. You can get the KDE Windows version here.

Just follow the instructions to download and install.

KOffice is long gone and there is only a few places that provides really
old binaries, take a look at Calligra that replaced KOffice.

Not sure how well it works on different MS-Windows versions, but don't
bother if you still use a pirated version of XP as you need at least Vista.
