how to extract the type library data from an EXE to create a OLB-File.

is there a way to extract the compiled in type library data from an
executable program like EXCEL.EXE to create a separate OLB-file ?

i know it's not a must have, but imho it's easier and better for a
project to handle the type library data in a separate location and
even only with the really needed information and data.
