Windows 3.1, WFW 3.11 Error Messages

Anyone know where I can get a list of error messages for Windows? It
would also be nice to find out the common fixes for those errors. I am
currently getting a consistent Error #214 on disk one of my 3.1 setup
diskettes. I can't find any documentation on this error from any source,
and my bookcase is full of books on Windows of all issues.
Any ideas? There must be someone out there who has hit this same error
message and worked around it. Any help would be appreciated.
