With the release of XP SP2, Microsoft has changed how the default user
profile behaves when using sysprep or RIS for imaging purposes. In
the good ole' days, you could setup a profile, overwrite the default
user profile and all subsequent logons would receive the custom
modifications.

Now sysprep and RIS overwrite the default user profile with the local
administrator profile during the image process -- but not completely.
I have yet to get quick launch to remain enabled after running riprep
for RIS.

My questions is: Has anyone else experienced this behavior? If so,
has anyone developed a workaround?

Thanks in advance for your help.
