Can anyone help? I am trying to install the drivers for an nVidia TNT2 M64
graphics card on my dual boot (NT and W98) system.

It installed with no problems on Windows 98 but I am having real problems
installing it on NT. I firstly tried to install the drivers using the CD
provided which caused NT to hang before I got to the CTRL+ALT+DEL screen. I
had to replace the old graphics card so that I could get back in to NT.

I then decided to download the drivers from the nVidia site which now comes
up and tells me "it failed to install the drivers, you may not have the
access to install drivers". I am logged on as Administrator so what is going
on?

Please help, I'm getting desperate.

Hi,

I got the same problem with it. But I use TNT2 Ultra. Somebody told
me thea problem is that "your NT needs SP3 or above". Say, I think you
didn't install any pack for NT. I will download some and have a look

Good luck.

I've have now installed service pack 5 but am still getting the same
problems. Any other ideas?
Also, as I said in my original note when I used the CD that came with the
graphics card NT hung before the CTRL+ALT+DEL to login screen. Is there any
way I can delete these drivers (or whatever is causing the problem) without
having to replace the graphics card with the old one? (I can't get into NT,
you see).
