unable to connect to home network

I am having problem connecting to my home wireless network with Intel
PRO/wireless 3945 AB on my DELL laptop inspiron E1405 with windows XP.
I have a wireless router (LINKSYS WRT54G) and it had no problem
connecting before, but when I opened today after the computer suddenly
shutdown, it stopped connecting to the home network. It is able to
find and even connect to surrounding networks, so I am not sure what
happened.
