In Windows NT 4.0 (server and workstation), you could create an ERD on
the local hard drive, the information would be stored in
%windir%\repair.
The command was: rdisk /s-

In Windows 2000, rdisk.exe has been removed and ERD creation is now
intergrated
with NTBackup.exe. There are no listed switches or documented
information how to create an ERD on the hard drive.

Anyone have any ideas/solutions/work arounds?

Mike,
Thank you for your reply, however, the Backup utility requires a floppy.
I wanted to create the ERD on the HDD.
