Does anybody have a copy of this (JTAPE 2.46) that they can either email me or
give an FTP or WWW site for? I've searched the Web for it but so far haven't
found it. Apparently HP announced that old versions like this were now public
domain (or at least could be made publically available).

Thanks in anticipation,

you can ftp to ftp.hp.com
and then go to /pub/information_storage
i found a file named qunix.zip (i wonder why it is not a .Z or .GZ =)
that contains a readme and a tar file with the relevant stuff.
It worked to recognize the QFA700 we got here, but sadly, under OSE
5.0 we can't write to the tape, and tryin to read a previously TARed
tape causes a panic...=(
Please let me know if you don't find the file and i will send you a
copy of it...

Sorry, i could't find your email@dress
