Has anyone spent loads of time comparing the different options? Do you
have a synopsis of your conclusions? Care to share your opinions?

We used to sell 100s of Xenix every year, few years back SCO's products and
pricing and lack of interoperability with MS Networking put an end to that.

Does anyone else have 100s of customers who aren't prepared to buy-in to
OpenDesktop cum OpenServer and insist on the "MS" word? All these
customers were prepared to SCO UNIX alone without ODT when the upgrade was
affordable, but then SCO refused to sell it. Can they keep their
investment in Xenix and terminals while having SIMULTANEOUS file access
(and I don't mean FTP) between Xenix and Microsoft Networking at a very
reasonable cost (unlike SCO MS LAN Mgr for UNIX) ? What NFS or LAN Manager
or Network Client/Service is available for Xenix to WinNT? Win95 to Xenix?

We would not rule out the dreaded "Linux" either.

Of course, the more time passes, the more willing they are to use their old
equipment for a boat anchor and the SCO stuff right with it.
