I have a Linux binary compiled on RedHat 6.1 which I'm trying to run on
Unixware 7.1.

I'm just running 'lxrun <binary>' and getting the following error:

binary: can't resolve symbol '__libc_start_main'

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Lee

Maybe I was not patient enough but I could never get Acrobat Reader
for Linux to run on 7.1 neither.

This may sound strange. I have an lxrun package that I loaded
from SCO's skunkware site a while back. It is the only one I can
get to work. I run Acrobat reader. The ones I get from SCO, as
well as the one embedded in the OS do not work. All the libraries
seem fine. I just put the lxrun binary somewhere and use that one
instead.

My assumption has been that I have missed something obvious.

Of course, I won't be needing lxrun soon...

(On a similiar topic, after installing WINE, I can't even do
'wine -h'. It dies a painful death. Works great on Linux...)

I use lxrun with WordPerfect. No problem (apart WP dies after printing).
I use the lxrun package from skunkware, where I replaced the lxrun and
ld-lxrun.so by more recent ones (take a look at the Makefile and change
the location before compiling).
