zoneinfo for ULTRIX 2007 daylight savings time

I copied a binary file /etc/localtime from a BSDI system
to ULTRIX /etc/zoneinfo/localtime
and made sure it was world readable permissions
and after a kill and restart of xclock I was showing current time.

a kill -1 to the sendmail daemon process also
got it to reflect the right time on the SMTP port.
