I'm trying to implement a password policy on Tru64 v5.1. Specifically,
my password policy states that user password should be changed every
year and should have 8 char with at least one of (lower, Upper, digits
and special characters).
Does anybody know if there is already something built-in? Or I need to
create my own?
Thanks
Philippe
There is a Security Administration manual for V5.1 that you might want
to read.
It's available on-line at: http://h30097.www3.hp.com/docs/base_doc/DOCUMENTATION/V51B_ACRO_DUX/ARH95ETE.PDF
I'm a VMS user mainly, with just two Tru64 systems that I use
occasionally. I'm not an admin for unix systems.

I don't have a Tru64 up and running right now,
but maybe "sysman" offers some options in its
user administration part. I think you can reach it
via CDE folders on the root account.
I have just implemented something similar and I had to install C2 Enhanced
Security to do it. I suspect the same will be true for you.
