The version of rz/sz I have doesn't appear to support being
called from within a communications program. I imagine some comm
programs, such as ecu and xc, might support ZMODEM, and I think
the ecu and xc custodians hang out here. Also, since this is
really a SCO UNIX question, I'm crossposting this to
biz.sco.general and to comp.unix.pc-clone.32bit and sending the
followups there too.

What I do is to use cu to connect to the remote site, log in, etc., then
issue a sz filename or rz filename, then at my local end type
oh,oh! just realised if I type that I'll be in strife... what you have
to type is:
~ +rz filename or ~ +sz filename
but without the space between ~ and +.

vice-versa to send files type on the repmote computer rz
then while you are still on the remote type ~+sz file file etc.
Works Great ( I hate UUCP )

This doesn't work with more recent versions of rz/sz which open /dev/tty
directly hence won't talk to the remote system.
