C compiler Licenses

Recently I install the C compiler in Sun server, no problem there. However
when I tried to install this same C compiler in one of my workstation, I ran
into a check sum error. I think it has something to do with the license.
Does anyone know what
it meant? How do I check about the licenses and whether or not it can be
installed in more than one machine?

It's more likely that the C compiler would report that there's no license.
Worth posting the exact error you got onto the newsgroup.
