debian sparc I know wrong group but the smartest guys are in here

Has anyone had any success installing debian sparc on a ultra 5 im stuck no
matter what way i go- cant boot of the cdrom get bad magic number and cant
open disk label try to install from floppies through dd - but when writing
.bin files to disk i get this at the end

when i hit enter i get this

bash: 2c1: command not found

What am i doing wrong and any help is greatly appreciated

yes i know but you cant emulate hercules on Solaris you can on Linux that is
why i have to get linux loaded on my ultra 5

you're telling me that there are BINARIES for linux-sparc out there, for
your needs? I find that amazing to believe. linux-x86 binaries, I can
believe.

linux-x86 binaries wont help you.

Otherwise, I'd like to see this source that you're using, that cant be
recompiled for solaris-sparc.

I've installed Debian GNU/Linux on a Sun Ultra-1 without any problem.
