Why even I umount the cd-rom, I still can not get the cd-rom by press
the eject button manually?
I read through vold, vold.conf, rmmount.conf man pages, and can not
figure out a way to do it.
Could somebody help?
Thx.
In CDE I just open the removable storage manager and tell it to eject from
there. Keep in mind though, if you have a terminal screen, or any other
window open with that volume in it, you will not be able to eject the CD.

The volume management is running, I can umount the cd partition
smoothly, the problem is how can I eject the cd by 'manually press'
the 'eject button', I am not going to type in 'eject' commmand or
select 'eject' from the removable storage manager menu, and I will
have to keep the volume management running.
The reason I am doing this is because we will not ask our
non-technical user to know this 'eject device_path' command.
I searched FAQ and this group and some other sources I could find at
this moment, it seems to me that nobody is trying to do this.
Could somebody help me?
Thanks in advance.
