L.S.

Anyone gzip for Solaris v2.6 on x86 ?
(I know, recompile it, but hey, needing gcc.z etc).
Other good leads for shareware (x86 and v2.6) welcome.

Rudi,

sunsite.unc.edu has an uncompressed version of gzip for 2.5.1 x86 that
seems to work fine under 2.6 x86. BTW, does anyone have working binaries
for gcc 2.8, libg++ 2.8, and gdb 2.8 for 2.6 x86 in package format yet?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

There's a whole load of x86 2.6 stuff at
ftp://x86.cs.duke.edu/pub/solaris-x86/solaris-x86-2.6/index.html

OK it does, thanks (wondering now why I didn't just try that).

If you find the gcc 2.8 binaries could you let me
know where I can pick it up. Have been searching for it for
a long time with no luck.

thanks
