Driver for AMI MegaRAID Elite 1600 (Dell PERC3/DC )??

Anyone have any idea how to get Solaris 10 to install on the above
controller? I've looked around but have been unsuccessful in finding a
driver.

LSI used to have a driver for Solaris 6, 7, and 8 but I don't see
anything newer nor even those drivers for download on their website (LSI
apparently purchased AMI).

Works out of the box on Solaris 10 x86.

That is what I would have suspected, but it does not show up for me. My
integrated Adaptec 7899W shows up but the MegaRAID Elite 1600 doesn't
show???
Do you have any further suggestions?

I can only suggest the usual things, check the card BIOS is the latest
(mine is) and that you can run the card's setup utility on boot.
It should say something like "1 virtual drive exported to BIOS" when is
starts up. I assume Solaris won't see it if it doesn't report a drive.
